About Us

The Office was founded in 1998 by Architect Orit Muhlbauer-Eyal. Orit holds an MA in architecture and city planning from the Technion, she graduated with honors. The Office, with a staff of 19 architects, works in all different fields of architecture. The Office deals with a range of projects: public buildings, residential buildings, historically preserved buildings and foundation strengthening against earthquakes. One of The Office's specialties are buildings and compounds designated for historical preservation. The Office has planned many buildings in Neve Tzedek and Jaffa and specializes in these areas.
The Office plans many buildings for the Tel Aviv municipality, notably The Municipality's flagship project; "Ganey Shapira", an affordable housing project, 70 residential units for rent that have been recently housed. The office won the 2015 Rokach prize for this project.
Another unique project is the Riding Power Plant, planned for the Israeli Electric Corporation.
The Riding compound (350 dunams) plan includes preservation of the historic power plant and its transformation to a museum and visitor center (in cooperation with Yashar Architects).
