Remez-Arlozorov Compound, Tel Aviv
Status: planning only
A citation of honor in the 1997 competition to plan Remez-Arlozorov Compound, Tel Aviv (in cooperation with architect Natali Zichroni and architect Yaniv Pardo).
The relations between the open and built spaces is a main theme in this project since its lot is one of the last open spaces left in Tel Aviv.
The building seems to stem from beneath and over the street level and the natural land while the greenery and eolianite escarpments continue to play a role in the new spaces.
The dynamics between the opened and closed urban space creates spaces that blend in a harmonious composition.
